My Honors/recital poster
I started with a low-resolution image from my phone of a sentimental location near WWU
I came up with this Fibonacci-esque 3D shape using plug-ins and After Effects, and incorporated it into the poster in multiple ways before eventually choosing the method below.
Next I changed the palette and gave it a glitch/VHS tape aesthetic.
I decided to emphasize the palette of the glitchy sunset image and use the 3D shape as a displacement/refraction map for the palette.
Recital poster
Inspired by the art featured alongside Rupi Kaur's quote, I decided to try create something similar, but a more colorful elaboration.
I found images of wildflowers native to the southwest and used opacity masks in After Effects to make them appear to go from ink sketches to color.
I repeated this process for 18 images of southwestern wildflowers and arranged them radially so that the center is pure ink black and white while the outer edges are colored.
I then added a sketch of a human heart and altered its blending mode to adopt the colors of the flowers behind it.

Golden album cover
This client asked for a golden rose in a shiny black vase.
Since the track derived inspiration from Daft Punk, they wanted the color/materials to resemble the helmet on the cover of the album Random Access Memories.
I quickly decided that the best way to capture this effect would be to model it from scratch in Blender and then apply materials to meet the request.
I also did some compositing in After Effects
Kaleidoscope banner and logo
Kaleidoscope Sounds asked me for a colorful stained glass banner and logo to use on their social media accounts.
The images on the right show the process, from choosing a font, loosely sketching glass pane lines, and modeling in Blender.
Social Party logo animations
Social Party hired me to make a neon light animation based on their logo (above).
I modeled the neon display with bezier curves in Blender, using their logo as a template, and then added details like a frame and power cords for realism.
After the initial brick wall display was finished, they also asked me for a plain white version with depth of field and a Stranger Things inspired version with ash particles and red lightning.
